JSC “ISUZU RUS”: results and plans for future

On February, 13th, JSC “ISUZU RUS” held the first press conference in Moscow. During the event, the company’s representatives summarized year results as well as announced plans for the next year.
According to the leading news agency “Avtostat Info”, in 2016 ISUZU sold more commercial vehicles than any other foreign commercial vehicles manufacturer showing 7.8% growth. Scania took the second place among foreign commercial vehicles manufacturers, with MAN being the third.

“We are not going to be satisfied with what we have already achieved, and in the current year we are going to increase our sales by 25%,” said Fabrice Gorlier, CEO, JSC “ISUZU RUS”.
Among the main accomplishments of this year is launch of two warehouses in Moscow and Vladivostok. This step allowed us to decrease spare parts delivery time as well as broaden the range of products by 20%. 

The Russian ISUZU plant produces a wide range of commercial vehicles available on the Russian market. In 2016, the plant manufactured 20000th truck, this year the facility in Ulyanovsk will produce more than 3000 vehicles. 

ISUZU representatives also told about their main focus areas, including launch of production of heavy-duty commercial vehicles (GIGA) in Ulyanovsk.

In 2017, JSC “ISUZU RUS” is going to expand its product range by introducing all-wheel drive vehicle based on ISUZU NMS85 chassis as well as a gas-operated vehicle based on ISUZU NPR82/CNG chassis to the Russian market. In addition to that, in 2017 there will be a scheduled transition for ISUZU N-Series trucks to Euro-5 compliant engine.
